Here is some of the feedback we have received from women who have done our workshops.

Given me the skills to cope with stressful situations.  This course has empowered me to address a major issue in my life.

A wonderful day of self recognition both the good and the bad.  It's given me food for thought and tools to increase my well-being

It's helped me to look into myself and see my worth.  It's a bad day not a bad life.

Amazing, all women should do this thank you for the opportunity

Thank you so much this workshop has given me a number of tools to work with the personal well-being issues I have.  I have also met some really lovely local people and felt accepted and valued by everyone.  Many thanks

A well organised day to relax and think about stuff and learn.  Good ideas to take away and work on.  Good balance between sitting, listening, talking and photographs.

Reaffirmed that I am fortunate to have what I have got.  I can improve some things.

Very thought provoking, highlighted areas for me to work on.  Great to get out and be with others connecting in a different way than usual.

Given me new ideas and information to try and look further into.  Helped me to learn and grow.

It was so good to be amongst a group of women and share/listen.  I enjoyed the thoughts shared by Marina and photo session with Lucy,  It was also great to review a few things personally.

A peaceful, useful and fun day.  Thank you

It has given me perspective and helpful tools to enable me to cope, grow and be me.

Going through a tough time and being able to relate to so many other women is extremely helpful.  Both Marina and Lucy provide such confidence and support and understanding.  Really enjoyed the day and truly appreciated it.

Refocusing on my values, my inner voice, mindfulness, a lot to follow up on

It has given me some tools and motivation to improve my well-being.  It has been great to meet the other women in the community.

It has given me tools to recognised how I'm feeling and how to help myself process things and give me starting points to talk to a trusted person.  I really enjoyed the day with Marina and Lucy.

Thanks so much, so much food for thought, hugely beneficial day to well-being.

Great opportunity to discuss how to keep focused on our well-being, individually and as a family

Well done girls absolutely loved today, thank you for allowing me to be a part of it all

I really enjoyed it and felt like I was in a safe environment to share

Marina was great, good balance of 'in charge' but kept it friendly and intimate

I really enjoyed today, it opened up my eyes and my heart to deal with some unresolved issues.  I felt safe being vulnerable.

A wonderful day with wonderful facilitators and an engaging group, great food, great location.

    Will definitely recommend to others.

I enjoyed being with a nice bunch of girls who didn't judge or criticise.  Fantastic Lucy and Marina who looked after us.

I have left today feeling more at ease with myself and my current journey.  I feel as though I have given myself permission to believe in myself and where I am going in my life.

Thank you Lucy for the beautiful photos. I love them. I like many Mums have very few photos of myself, so to have some amazing ones is awesome.

I had a lovely day and came home feeling much stronger, with some new tools in the toolbox.

    Love your work Ladies.

  • Agenda for the Event

Conversations with the Mirror – self-talk and self-criticism are crucial elements in our self-esteem; it is important to ensure that we are speaking to ourselves with respect and being deliberate about speaking into our day in a positive and empowering way.

Accomplishments and achievements are a very personal part of the journey, it is very easy to fall into the comparison trap and feel ‘less-than’ another person who you perceive to be ‘more-than’ you are.  In this topic we will talk about celebrating your own journey, feeling fulfilled with what you have and who you are; and making authentic choices about your future that align with your own beliefs and values.

Who not What – often women feel that the question ‘what do you do’ defines who they are.  In this topic we will talk about ‘who you are’ as your definer; not what you do.  Allow your definition in life to be more than a role you play to your family.

Values and Beliefs that will keep you mentally well and on track.  These two incredible words are the power behind all that we do and all that we are.  They are the compass in our lives but often we have not intentionally defined them nor are we aware of how our daily choices are lining up with our Visions and Beliefs.  In this topic you will identify your values and beliefs and you will see how having them front and centre in your life will help you to line up the decisions you make on a daily basis.

The whole hearted person is an image of an individual shared by Brene Brown in her book “The power of vulnerability”.  In this topic we will find out more about Brene, vulnerability and whole hearted living.

Inverted kindness.  If your friend or neighbour was suffering with an obvious situation how would you reach out to them? Inverted kindness is about considering what we would do for others and allowing ourselves the ‘self-care’ required to be kind to us, when we need it and when no-one else is providing it for us.

Mini Mindfulness techniques to help you in moments of self-doubt and over-whelming emotions.  As a mindfulness facilitator Marina has an entire workshop dedicated to this subject.  She will take some of the most powerful tools and share them for quick emergency recover tools for when we need to manage our responses.  She will help you to understand your emotions and allow them to “be” just as they are without judgement.

Fears and Failures – How to speak to ourselves about the inevitable times that will happen when fears and failures will occur.  How to ensure that these do not cripple us but instead allow them to be used them for growth and personal development.

How gratitude will change our lives and help us to notice our world and feel good about all that is in our lives.

The Emotional Bank Account.  How to care for yourself and fill your tank up so that there is something to draw from and share with others.  This topic area is all about understanding and planning for the energy that will be required from me throughout the day; where will it come from, what will it look like and will there be enough to get me through the day.
