Marina Shearer

Master Trainer Extended DISC

Marina studied psychology at the University of Canterbury and received her Diploma of Coaching through the Southern Institute of Technology.   She holds a qualification in business communication from Trinity College London and is a Master Trainer for Extended DISC psychometric profiling and the Strongs Interest Inventory profile for career development.  

Marina has 15 years experience as a consultant/facilitator with NZIM (NZ Institute of Management) and she is now a facilitator for MHERC (Mental Health Education and Resource Centre) where she conducts adult education seminars around New Zealand.  She is the Director of Thrive for Girls and also PROFILE Coaching Ltd an organisation that provides professional development for individuals and organisations across NZ.


Marina and farmer husband Craig have 3 children. Jordan graduated from UC in 2019 where he studied Criminal Justice; their twins are currently in year 13 at High School in Christchurch.

Marina is available for youth and adult coaching via zoom or face to face in Christchurch, her areas of specialty are careers, university and self development.
