Anne Cullen

Anne has over 30 years experience working with children and families. She began her career teaching children of all ages and with a variety of needs and then moved into her current role as a parent coach and educator. Originally from Minnesota, she has now lived in New Plymouth for the past 21 years, raising two boys with her Kiwi husband.

Anne’s greatest desire is for children to grow up feeling safe, secure and understood and she knows nothing influences this more than the relationships they have with their parents. She can help you to better understand your child and manage their challenging behaviours so that you can enjoy parenting more and help your child reach their greatest potential. Anne works with parents both in 1-1 consultations and in her group coaching programme providing information and support that is both evidence backed and trauma informed.

Anne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Sociology/Anthropology; Family Resources; and Education from the United States. She is a Certified MAP Practitioner, REACH Practitioner, Mindfulness Instructor, and Life Coach with additional training in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Collaborative & Proactive Solutions.
