Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts from Otago University, Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Teaching from Victoria University, a Diploma in Life Coaching from New Zealand Institute of Business and a paper in Careers Counselling.

Prior to fulfilling her dream of becoming a Coach in 2020, Anna was employed at the Department of Corrections. She served over 12 years as a Probation Officer, Case Manager, Professional Supervisor, Senior Advisor and Practice Leader working with a diverse group of people. A huge part of her roles was motivational interviewing which she believes is pivotal in coaching to help clients draw their own conclusions and think about things from different perspectives.

Anna has been coaching a wide range of clients in Hawke’s Bay, including students for the past 16 months and has received fantastic feedback in her easy, warm approach.  Her areas of expertise are career coaching, changing negative self- talk to positive, helping clients to create positive habits and working holistically.

Anna enjoys meeting client’s face to face but is also available over zoom. She believes building rapport in person at the beginning of the working client/coach relationship is really important. Anna makes a point of responding in a timely manner to clients while balancing two young children.
